you can have fun either way. I find zone more rewarding because I know when I square one up it's likely not going straight to someone's glove like it might with directional Enjoy because it's a deep game that has a lot of replay ability

Zone is what I use. Takes some getting used to. Nothing worse than a perfect timed swing but swinging high on a change up.

I've found its easier to hit HR's (vs CPU) with directional.
Does anyone here use "Guess Pitch"? If so, which style do you use? I just found Classic last night and it's been Godsent for me.

yeah, if you square up and get good timing on the swing chances are the ball is gone, and if not then extra bases are pretty much a given if you use zone.

Broke another controller today in the event lol. Second time I got to 8 wins and lost for my ninth.

I tried zone for probably 2-3 weeks and just couldn't quite grasp it. I overshoot with the PCI if I have it set high and the pitch is right down the middle so I move it down all the way to the ground. Frustrated the crap outta me.

One of the game designers really hates Bryce Harper. Finished the future stars program to get his card, every time I come to bat with him I can hear someone yelling "overrated" in the background
