I have no freaking clue how Hearthstone works, but one of my good friends is a professional Hearthstone player 
He's tried to explain it to me, but I'm just not really into card games, especially a freemium game.
I'll duck into his streams and troll the shite out of everyone whenever he's on.

Rank 14 playing mostly Zoolock now. Last win was a priest that blew all of his board clear in 3 consecutive turns, then I'd just fill the board up again. Every time he'd clear the board he'd taunt with "Well Played". Felt good to get to say "Sorry" at the end of the game when his health hit 0. Played both Lightbombs and a Holy Nova just to clear a bunch of 3/2 and below. Once he blew his load Dr. Boom did the rest

He isn't like a big time top player or anything and he isn't on a team right now, but he was on Vicious Syndicate. He says he's gotten multiple offers recently. I mean hey, if you get to travel around playing a game, more power to ya haha.

So just started, dropped 60 on packs, the cards you get are so sorted out though it hardly seems worth while. Got like 6 mage specific cards out of all of that. Supposedly get matched with people my rank/level and they are pulling out legendary old god cards out the arse and have their decks supremely built.
What's the best way to get started in this?
