Anyone having issues with gamepass ultimate on PC?

We mostly use steam and the gamepass on the console but this afternoon my son decided he wanted to play gamepass on the PC and browse games. For some reason it kept wanting me to sign up for PC gamepass or ultimate gamepass. I verified I already had a gamepass ultimate subscription and it was showing my gamertag. I could force a download to the PC using the app on the phone but couldn't directly download. Also anything that was an ea game wanted me to download the ea pass and link it to my gamepass and I couldn't download those games via my phone.
