I set up my ps5 in the bedroom while my ps4 is hooked up to our living room tv. I get everything transferred from the 4 so I disconnect it and put the ps5 in the living room but the tv in the living room won’t detect the ps5. I’ve tried every hdmi port. It’s a Samsung plasma circa 2007 and I know it’s dated but I thought it would still at least display it. The bedroom tv is only a couple years newer and was plug and play with no issues.

Did you hold down the power button to initiate new resolution (may be using wrong terminology)?

When I switch my PS4 to a different TV, I have to hold down the power button to tell it it’s on a new TV
