It has a lot of aspects that Fable 2 had and has improved on basically all of them.

That's great to hear.

How fast does the "start menu" load? The idea sounded interesting but I was concerned with loading times when I first heard about it.

I heard something about importing data from Fable 2, any word on that?

I'm waiting on delivery as well. Bless you amazon's release date delivery.

The menu loading times in Fable II were bad and that system wasn't nearly as complex as the one projected for this one. So that's a concern for me as well.

FedEx delivered a package but it wasn't the game... I hope it at least shows up in the mail box.

The start menu load time is instant. It amazes me that there is no delay. It reminded me of the first Fable when Maze would teleport around right in front of you instantly. I feel like you can do something similar because its so fast. There is 4 rooms on the start menu which is the armor room, weapon room, LIVE room, and trophy/achievement room. You can hit your d-pad to one of the corresponding rooms while at the start menu and you are instantly in it. Armor I'm wearing right now is absolutely badass.

Another cool thing is that your weapons change as you grow stronger. Like my sword was originally just a normal sword but now it has the glowing blue writing on it and it looks more like a jagged falchion.

You're gonna make me piss myself. I just realized that it's shipping UPS so I'll probably have it in a couple of hours.

Another really cool feature is the ability to have an current-time map on the start menu that acts like a google earth. On it I can control all the properties I own and even buy new ones. But I'm pretty sure I own them all now which accounts for the 50k or so going into my inventory every 5 minutes from rent and sales

I started off making money in Brightwall village by just putting some music on and rolling out some pies. The 10x multipliers earn you a lot of cash especially when you are a level 5 pie roller. Over 3k per pie. But early on I would just make money then go and buy a house and rent it out. I repeated till I owned everything in Brightwall that was under like 20k. I just continued to play the game and the money kept adding up and every time it did I would go to the start menu and just buy something new and rent it out. The amount I was earning just skyrocketed basically
