This! A million times better than bookers for a cask strength bourbon. The whole sazerac cask strength is worth buying when you can find it (William Larue Weller, Thomas Handy Sazerac, and George T Stagg). Weller is wheated, Stagg is classic rye finished bourbon and sazerac is a rye whiskey. All pulled directly out of the barrel uncut or filtered, high alcohol but easy to cut with a touch of good water, and in very limited quantities. In my many years in the industry I never understood the love for blantons outside of the cool bottle. It's truly a mediocre product for its high price point running off the reputation of the "original" single barrel bourbon.

This is one of the best valued products to introduce yourself to pappy without getting into the $100-200 range. The 12 year lot b is around $50-60 a bottle and worth every penny spent.

And the 12 yo is available at the same gas station. As was the George T. Stagg. I just had to get the last bottle of the 20 yo.
