What happened to Southern Belle Sandwich Shop?

They were those gas station sandwiches.

The code violations, which hurt their reputation, and cost sale leverage, then Beardens all semingly retired sans Ricky, who took a position with St Louis company Landshire which bought them.
Landshire sells preservative loaded Yankee convenience store stuff. Not the Southern Belle-esque finger sandwiches you are looking for. But, I believe Ricky owns a piece of The Perfect Platter, which has finger sandwiches and much more, call em.
Or just go to Calvin's AG, get Calvin's Chicken Salad & his daughter Kalyn's Pimento Cheese(it's great), and make your own.

My go to breakfast for a few years before they closed was a tuna or chicken salad sandwich ( sometimes both), a large Monster, and a pack of Marlboro reds.
Hated to see them close.
Fun Fact: The Tuna Sandwich was LSU BBall Coach John Brady’s personal favorite!

I know of 3 brands that were pretty good sandwiches in the NOLA area. Southern Belle, Mrs. Drakes and The Sandwich Man. I think only Sandwich Man is still in operation. I just saw one of their trucks last week.
My favorite sandwich was the ham and potato salad, but I don't remember who sold that. Next was the tuna sandwich.
