Bumping this for a review later. Was googling to see if it's a chain and this thread popped up!

Oook. Was wanting mexican tonight and I remembered someone on the OT mentioning this place. Went with my parents and we were surprised by how many ppl were there considering we had not heard much about it. We waited about 30 min for a table, which was fine bc we went to the bar and got top shelf margaritas. A band suddenly appeared behind the bar. They played cover songs, which doesn't bother me. Got to our seat and ordered the table side guac. I walked over to a store for a minute to check out a dress in the window. When I came back, the guac was there and my order had been placed for nachos. I stopped the waitress an asked her to tell the kitchen no beans. When she came out with our food there were beans and it was too many for me to pick through. She said it was no prob to send them back and make new nachos. When she came back, my new nachos looked glorious. Each chip was covered in chicken and cheese and tomato and sour cream and tiny jalepenos pieces. My dad had the burrito and mom had the street tacos. I swear the tacos had pickled onions but the waitress said no. I can see how some of you would think the nachos were covered in velveeta cheese, but honestly there was so much melted white cheese and shredded orange cheese, that I didn't give a shite what brand it was because it was layered very well. I never made it to the middle of nachos but I did peek in there and it was devoid of cheesy goodness. I kinda figured it wasn't goin to be on the nacho level of Champps but it was pretty decent. Mom did not like her street tacos, which was surprising because she rarely dislikes whatever she orders.

Overall, the service was pretty good. The waitress told me that I made everyone's day when I returned my first order of nachos because the manager said they could eat them. She was attentive and friendly and we liked her. The band was loud for us while we were standing at the bar, but once we got to our seats, it was fine. We all agree that it would be a good place to have drinks but maybe not order meals. I thought the menus were cute (record albums) and the check came in the form of a VIP lanyard pass which comes off as commercialy but it was all in fun, so whatever.

Lots of late 20s-early 30 somethings in there. Just about standing room only inside and out by the time we left. By the time we were ready go, we were about 4 margaritas down and singing along to the band. Bottom line, come here for drinks and sing a long with the band. Stick to the appetizers.
