We are building a house and have to pick a stove/oven.

Looking at dual fuel or gas only.

30” slide in

Reviews are scary no matter what brand.

Anyone have any recommendations?

I’m poor so I want to spend less than $3000.

I am in the same boat, looking for almost the exact same thing - dual fuel, 30" slide-in. We have a scratch & dent place here in town I'll pop into every few weeks to see what they have, then check the reviews. They seem to mostly have GE Cafe and GE Profile units around $2,000.

Reviews are kind of all over the place though, so they seem pretty worthless.

$2,000 is a great deal based on retail. I'm going to look into scratch and dent.

The best reviews I've seen are for the LGs. They are about $3500 though.

Throw in another $1k and buy a BlueStar. But get a proper vent hood.

I will look into that.

The vent hood is already part of the plan. The one we got will pull the curtains apparently. Very excited about it.

As an aside, I have not forgotten about your SD AirBnB recs. Thank you. I need to pull the trigger.

It's where we get all of our appliances. They're usually almost 50% off retail, and the scratches and dents are hardly noticeable. Inventory is kind of hit or miss though, so you have to be somewhat patient.
