it costs a lot to fly that bread in daily from philly

they send the bread in? me and the gf went and each had fries, a sandwich and a drink and it was like 25 dollars. could have shared fries though...

It does not come daily. It is flash frozen and shipped out--kind of like subway bread.

Ok-you got me. The bread dough is formed and frozen and then shipped frozen where some doofus employee puts it into an oven for 20 minutes.

man, i could destroy a SOP steak on an italian herb and cheese footlong right now

I have no idea what SOP does. I went through the drive-thru and ate their overpriced cheese steak once. All I know is that the bakery ships a shitload of bread. I used to live about 3 miles from the place. It is a huge operation. My point to all of this is that the sub rolls are not air-lifted into Baton Rouge. The product is frozen.
