Sonic's Ice Cream Machines Are Better!

How come McDonald's has a national reputation for its' faulty ice cream manchines? Even here on the local level, your chances of purchasing an ice cream at McDonald's on any given day is about 50%.
But Sonic has never let me down. They must have the monopoly on reliable ice cream machines...
Either that or McDonald's employees prefer to avoid the hassle of cleaning the machines so they constantly deem it "out of service".

They get lazy with mixing the blasts sometimes. All the Oreos will be at the top and nothing but ice cream halfway down.
