My pleasure, baw. They have a ton of good spots in this area. Food trucks are starting to pop up as well and they’re bringing the heat. Oddly enough, I do mostly carnivore and meal prep, so I cut out a lot of weekky eating out to save money, but I try new places often when I feel like I have earned it. SW Louisiana is not a perfect region by any stretch, but the Cajun Prairie is chock full of good people that live farm to table and you can eat good, quality meats on a reasonable price.

ETA: meant to offer another suggestion as well… T-Moise Farms in between Church Point and Sunset… he butchers weekly and has a great selection of good steaks, sausages, boudin balls, boudin sweet potato pie, all kinds of stuff really. Tim is his name. I’m not on FB but he told me he does weekly announcements when he butchers.
