I don't think Avo has a patio anymore. Last time I drove by the construction crew was working to make it an extension of the inside dining room

Correct, they are turning it into a second dining room.

I believe they have re-opened that side now. I'm not sure if all the new windows can open to still give it an outside feel or not but I hope the new space doesn't lose that ambiance it had before.

My wife and I enjoy bringing our dog with us when we eat out. Here are a few places with outside seating we frequent.

Saba, Picnic, Reginellies, Patios, Juan's, Red Dog Diner, Rum House, Bourre, Cavan, CCBBQ, Port Orleans, Bordeaux (Never brought the dog there though, but food is excellent, great outdoor eating atmosphere), Bratz Y'all, Pizza Delicious, Blue Oak, Fresca, Maple St. Diner, cafe degas, Origami, bacchanal

There are tons of choices and can go on for a while

Decided to come to Avo tonight since I hadn’t been since the construction started. I like the renovation overall but definitely a different look and feel to the old patio. The windows along Magazine can definitely be opened but I doubt they will all that often. Don’t like the new tile on the ground in the renovated area, but do like the candle wall to give it a little ambiance.
