Ozark Oak Lump Charcoal appears to be back in production

Like alot of people, I knew when I finished off that last bag there would be no more. That was about a year ago for me.

While in Harps Grocery the other day, to my surprise there were pallets full of Ozark Oak on sale for $6.48. I bought two bags.

The only info I could find was this thread from a Green Egg forum.

Someone in there points out that the plants address is now listed as Royal Oak on the Yellville Chamber of Commerce website. Also, the new bags have a red closing strip stitched on (mine do) where it was tan in the past.

I’m alittle skeptical this is just RO in a different bag, but glad I’ll have the opportunity to find out. Before the sale, OO was an outstanding product.
