She and her husband are originally from the Carribean, I believe and ended up here in Baton Rouge. She talks about their struggles to stay open and make ends meet while providing for their special needs daughter.

I have interacted with her on two previous occasions before and she seems like a very generous and hospitable person. The first time I ordered to-go and we had a very friendly conversation and she was so grateful for the business. After I placed an order on the second occasion, the wait time wasn't going to work because I was heading out of town. She then offered to shave 20 minutes off of the wait time by personally cooking my order herself.

The fried shrimp, chicken bites, and conch fritters were very good. Shrimp poboy and fries are nothing special. The service makes up for it though IMO.

Good to hear of great service from an actual owner. Think I’ve only stopped in for a couple beers after a game but I’ll be sure to check them out

I heard her on there this morning. I haven't been since they changed owners but want to try it now. Does a really good job putting a personal touch on what a lot of people are going through.
