Did you ever sit down and talk to Joe Lobianco about WWII?

Can't say I remember doing that, Now I wish I had.
He seemed like a great guy and I had many conversations with him. I love an old store like that. He had beer in the old chest type coolers.

I always remember me and a buddy had dates for a concert and stop to buy beer there.
He refused to sell beer to my babyfaced buddy who was 18. He made me buy it for him, I was 16 at the time.

He told me a few stories from WWII, but I mostly enjoyed it when he would pull out his marionette puppet and speak to me in that Mexican accent. He had a Hubig Pie on the counter for sale that was 7 years past due! I only ever bought Coca-Colas from him in glass bottles. I figured those couldn't be too bad, even if really old!

I sit down and talk to my father about WWII about three times a week.
