You need to try different alternative pods....I find the Lavazza ones OK, but I've enjoyed some awesome independent roaster pods bought while traveling abroad. My old favorite Sant'Eustachio in Rome sells capsules. Heck, the Tesco brand pods sold in the UK supermarkets are pretty good...I had a supermarket brand bought at Monoprix in Paris that were excellent (can't recall the brand). Note: I'm talking medium or darker roast, espresso. No flavored shite.
