I have procured a bottle of mezcal from a Christmas party and I cant do tequila straight. Past bad experiences and all..
But I like the smokiness to it and I wonder if any of you chaps have some good cocktail recipes to use it in.
So what ya got?
And thanks in advance

Not too familiar with that one but it shouldn't matter too much. Not sure what's in your home bar but, here's one we make using any joven 100% espadin mezcal.
Pistolas al amanecer
(Pistols at dawn)
60ml Mezcal
14ml Meletti amaro
9ml Cynar
3 drops chocolate bitters
3 drops black walnut bitters
4 ice cubes
Build in a cocktail mixing glass by adding ice & pouring all measured ingredients over the ice. Stir one minute to chill & rest one minute to dilute. Strain to serve up in a coupe glass. Garnish with a luxardo cherry.
Or you can always substitute it in your favorite tequila or bourbon recipes.
