They're supposed to be like the Magnalite of old (not the new Chinese produced stuff). I'm getting ready to get some new cookware and was thinking about getting a couple of pieces from McWare. Let me know what you think.

Great pots. Mike McGee from Mamou spent time in China to learn how they made them. Magnalite went out of business but couldn't understand why so many were sold in Louisiana. Come to find out it was "the way we cook" so he tapped into the business.

They're practically the same as the Magnalites. We have several and love them and they're reasonably priced at his wholesale.

I have several of them...no complaints here.

DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER!!!

We let some family stay at our house while we were on vacation and they didnt know any better and threw a couple of them in the dishwasher...now they looked kinda fricked up and have this funky glaze on them

Thanks, I will give that a shot. I read a while back about some stuff called "bar keepers friend" but I have never seen it at any of the places I visit.

I edited it cause some say not to use "abrasives" but we have. My father also had something for his gas grill called "Aluminum bright" or something like that. Just be careful.
