I've been to Old Arabi Eats a couple of different times.
Sometimes on Friday night they add steak to the menu. Holy crap large arse Ribeye was delicious.
Also had Grilled shrimp with a corn machoux delicious.

sounds like a solid place out there. just did a quick Yelp search .. it has 10 reviews, all 5 stars.
back when I first lived in Nola in 08 my gf worked out in Chalmette for a hot minute. met her a couple times at Rocky & Carlo's for lunch .. didn't ever care to go back out there for lunch again after that.

When I worked in the greater New Orleans area in the early 00's I ate at R&C's too many times. Told myself I would seek out new options down there this time.

my gf just reminded me that we went to Tony's Poboys once too. I don't really remember my experience there .. recall it being like cafeteria style or something.

eh that one is ok. If I do go eat down there (nothing formal), I go to Arabi Food Store, Old Arabi Eats, Rocky and Carlos, Green Store (down da road).
If I'm coming back from the bars early in the morning I will go to Gerald's for some sliders and cheese fries

Gotta like mustard and onions to get those.
Will check out Arabi food store next week. See a lot of brown bagging my lunch in the future.
