Live crawfish between BR and Texas

I will be leaving BR Sunday morning and looking to pick up a sack along the way. We generally just get it at HEB here but they may sell out. Any recs near the interstate preferably between Lafayette and the state line? Don’t want them sitting in the trunk forever so the closer to Texas the better.

There are lots of places in Houston you can get live bugs right now. What part of town are you going to?

Crawfish app has a 0pace in Woodlands listed at $1.49/lb.

I know it’s not necessary and the plan was to get them from our local HEB but they will be sold out by the time we make it back in. There are many places near me that I can get them but for about a dollar more a pound. Figured I could just find a spot in Crowley or something near the interstate and throw them in the chest.
