I use a 6 inch chef's knife 99 percent of the time. I have other longer knives but I'm not sure which drawer I left them in ten years ago. I use the knife so much I just leave it out on the counter.
My cleaning lady from Mexico has a fit. "Meester Zach, why you leef dis knife out. It belong in de drawer. And Meester Zach, you got too many dog. Make mucho hair."
