Going on my honeymoon there in July. We're staying for 5 nights in Yountville. I've made a little list of wineries and restaurants. You didnt happen to hit up French Laundry, did you?

The carneros inn is amazing. Beautiful property, especially the private villas. Have an apple orchard on property, boon fly cafe for great lunch/brunch, farm looked beautiful but pretentious restaurants don't bother me at all. They also have outdoor showers in the villas, a pool and hot tub with a great view of the AVA and nearby vineyards. I would definitely stay there again. Jarvis estate is a great wine tasting in their caves btw.

Most likely. For my money I prefer Sonoma of the 2.

I've only done Napa and we had an amazing driver take us around, tell us the history of each place, and was just a cool guy. He's lived in Napa for 40+ years so it was cool to be around someone who really knows the area.

the guy's name was Dave, works for Millionaire Limo Services. I had gotten a bunch of recommendations for the guy who owns it, Reese, so I called and he spent 2 weeks planning it with me, then we get there and Dave comes out. He was one of the coolest people I've ever met.

Good to know. I'm always looking for good peeps up that way. Its funny because I live 1 hour away and hardly ever go up that way.
