Houston Chronicle article

quote:
Hay Merchant, 1100 Westheimer, again this year will open at 10 a.m. on Black Friday (Nov. 24) with a list of hard-to-find beers available for sale. New this year are brews from California's The Bruery, which launched Houston sales earlier this year. Bottles of Melange No. 4 and Tart of Darkness will be available for $22 each (limit one). Poterie Bourbon, at $20, is also available.
Hay Merchant menu also features favorites from Avery (e.g., 2012 and 2013 Rumpkin), Saint Arnold (e.g., Bishop's Barrel Nos. 12-15), Prairie (e.g., Brimstone Bomb!) and Firestone-Walker (which boasts the most expensive beer, at $28, on the list). In all, the bar is offering 40 bottles, from 12 ounces to 750 ml.
