Anyone on the board make their own? I'm looking at Donald Link's recipe for it and am thinking about trying it out.
Was it worth it? taste and price wise?

dang. no one's done this? found some pork belly at Whole foods. just need to find curing salt.

Ive made bacon a few times. While it isnt not worth it, I think there are better things to do with fresh pork belly than make bacon. For one, pancetta. Another Chinese roasted pork or porchetta.

But it is a nice thing to try
