Heading up to Mansura tomorrow

The wife and I will be heading up there for their annual Cochon de Lait Festival held over the Mother's Day weekend.

When her dad was still alive I'd run up there and help work the beer booth on Friday and Saturday and got to eat some fine open roasted pig and side dishes. Not a bad fair for such a small town.

I'm going to pick up a couple hog heads and a few trotters to make authentic hog's head cheese when I get back to N.O.
