Do it! Their only downfall is they don't carry chocolate milk.

I go at least once a week. Good stuff.

Hey Johnson's, can you have cornbread dressing as a side Thursday? Probably the best cornbread dressing I've ever had.

went to brick and spoon this week for my birthday.

we got the bruschetta app with green apple, pecans, brie and a balsamic reduction on toast points. my favorite thing about this was that the bread was still soft enough that it doesnt flake off (which results in me having quite crummy cleavage).

Cant recall what my girlfriend got but it was a omelette and was cooked perfectly, she said. I got the shrimp and taso mac and it was solid. We tried all the mimosas with different juices. my only critique on the bar is that it was mostly juice and not enough champagne. figure i should get at least a slight buzz if i pay 18 bucks for two drinks. friend got bloddy mary with the bacon vodka and was pleased.

food was excellent, but service was another story. i dont think the server has ever had a job in the restaurant industry before. he puts orders in on the phone, which makes it look like hes checking fb while you are talking with him. he kept forgetting to order us drinks that we asked for (both bar and non-alcoholic beverages) despite pushing buttons for them on his phone.

and, when i tried to pay with cash, he told me credit card would be easier.

with that said, ill return for the food. ill just request another server and hope they are more seasoned.

I have some friends that live there... they love it.

I remeber when RR had about a 1/2 mile long driverway from where the condos started

The taking orders and paying by phone thing is not smart IMO. All waiters and waitresses do it there. The two times I went the system wasn't working properly but everything went smooth. I think they should abandon that idea though

Tiger, thanks for the kind words. i'll pass your message on to Lori. We have a small kitchen and it's pretty hard for us to add sides because our steam table is only four feet, but we will try to do that in the near future. If we do i will post it on our calendar which you can access from our website. Thanks again.

Bacon vodka???

On another note, the sausage sauce piquant at Johnson's on Thursdays is The Bomb.

Is that why you asked for cornbread dressing specifically on Thursday? I agree, that would e an awesome side to go with it. They'd do it right, too.
