It kills me to say this, especially since I've been going to Jerry's my whole life, but the food seems to have gone down hill in the last 5-6 years. Last three times I've been super disappointed in what I ordered. Two times I got burgers and another time I got some seafood (can't remember what exactly) and they all tasted frozen each time. I still go there at least once every time I visit Pcola to have beers and get a sense of nostalgia but that's all Jerry's is good for now a days. Go to Hub Stacey's if you wanna slug cheap beers while eating fried food and burgers that are actually really good. Not as old school as Jerry's but still has plenty of vintage, ratty charm.

Never ate at the Joe Patti restaurant but the fish market is awesome, also make sure to get the gelatto there if you go.

A lot of good recs in this thread, I've been planning on trying Global Grill and Dharma Blue next time I visit.
