Looking for decent French bread to make po boys with in Houston. Any recommendations?

Central Market, Common Bond are ok…Pappadeaux’s also has the type of bread you’re looking for if you can convince them to sell you some loaves a la cart.
Or go to Alpha Bakery in Chinatown…or any Vietnamese bakery and buy their bread.
