Just sitting down in this place. What can I expect?

They were very rude to our party on this past mothers day. We had brought a large party before (the same group of family) and sat inside against the wall, pulling some tables together. When my grandmother got there, after calling ahead, the owner threw a fit and hollered at the waitresses for moving tables and said oh they can just sit outside. Thankfully it was a lovely day, but what if it had been hot. They ended up not being busy anyway.
Anyways, the food is alright. They give big portions. Hamburgers are frozen I know for sure, we inquired before. So leaves doubt that lot of other things are frozen. Walk out and go next door to the chinese place (great people, known them forever) or go to Sammys.
Like first part mentioned, just rude and bullshite. We won't be back. If my dad had heard about that shite when we got there we would have all left. Grandmother didnt tell everyone until the next day

Yeah, another poster repped them on here a while back. They have a loyal customer base from the people that went to Nine Dragon before it expanded into that dollar tree by oak point

It was just ok for me not terrible but nothing special. I ordered the eggplant topped with crawfish cream sauce on recommendation by the waitress. Came with sides of vegetable medley and potatoes. Minus points for the potatoes which were like the frozen cubed hash towns like the ones at Shoney's or a hotel breakfast buffet would serve.
It would have been better on a bed of pasta and no potatoes.
Looked like the menu consisted of about 3-4 entrees that they cooked the same way except different choice of protein. Example: Alfredo pasta with chicken, shrimp, or crawfish. Made the menu look like it had more options than it really did.

I know, it was ridiculous of how bad my grandma got treated on mothers day. If a woman walks into your place of business on mothers day, on top of the great service you already give, you should give even more effort.

Work with a guy that swears it is great. Don't trust his opinion when it comes to food though.
