If you have a 120 qt pot, and you fill it up halfway everytime (even for 1 sack boils) you deserve to be ridiculed by the OCD aspergers side of me.
That would be stupid. I’ve never done less than a sack and a half with all the fixings in 120, so it’s been filled that way. If I did less and didn’t use a smaller pot, I would fill it less.

Do 2 bags, 1.5 boxes of salt, a cup of cayenne, and 10 ouces of liquid boil and they'll be perfect.

We could poll this right now and I guarantee the majority of people when listing their recipe will be speaking about a specific sized pot filled just above halfway full.
I’d say let’s do it. I have owned 80, 100, and 120s. In no pot have I ever filled it halfway. After the first boil or two, I always know how much water to put to what hole in the basket to be just enough to cover my crawfish. Why would I ever want to put so much water that I have to add more seasoning? Or take longer to boil? I’ve also never seen anyone add water just to say they got it to just over half the pot.

Do you not boil crawfish with potatoes, corn, etc?
A good rule of thumb is usually 1 quart of water per pound of crawfish.
Obviously if you're boiling 30-40 pounds in a 120 qt, you aren't going to fill it halfway. When I boil, I maximize the yield per batch so the 120 qt is going to have 60+ pounds of crawfish plus all the sides. So it gets filled with 60ish quarts.
