Delicious, imo. It's definitely sweeter than most aged rums. Not stupid sweet like the new Zaya blend though.
The oak barrels they use dont imbue the bourbon like profile that Zacapa, Cartavio, Plantation, Centenario, etc... have. Kirk and Sweeney (which I also really like) is probably the most similar to the Diplomatico.
