Been working a gig down there and finally got to try this place Saturday morning. At 7am, the food was basic hearty-breakfast stuff -- nothing wrong with that -- but the atmosphere was 100% representative of the flora and fauna of downtown Mobile.

Catalina in Bayou LeBatre. It's a PITA to get to and a total dive, but man their food is the best. Great red shrimp, very good fried green tomatos, and the best crab claws you will ever have.
