Cucumbers in Baton Rouge

Seems like 90% of the cucumbers I've bought in the past year have been slightly bitter with a yellow tint on the inside. This is after buying from 4 different stores throughout the year. Anyone else seeing this? Never had any issues in the past outside of the occasional bad cucumber.
If you aren't seeing it, where do you buy them?

Redstick Farmer's Market for locally grown cucumbers. Obviously, cucumber growing season won't be around much longer. I'd take a look at Southside Produce or Fresh Pickin's.
