Took one out of the freezer early in the week. Figured I would experiment a little from my typical, salt/pepper/garlic powder usual. I injected this one with a 50/50 mix of beef bone broth and a decent cabernet. Smoker climbed to 300 right off the bat for some reason. Got it back down to 230 for the rest of the day but it still cooked in about 7 hours. Came out friggin great though.

Thought about cropping that out.
Wife bought it for my bday to soak wood chunks in because I was using an old torn up styrofoam ice chest. I knew I'd catch crap for it sooner or later

Good job on the brisket. No need to soak wood chunks in water as it doesn’t absorb enough water to make a difference.
