They just did a quiet opening downtown.
For you Bama folk, what can I expect? If I'm eating seafood in DT Athens, it's going to take alot to pull me away from Seabear or Marker 7.
What about Chuck's Fish should I go for?

They already had 5 in Athens. They also own harbor docks in destin. Great seafood always fresh from the gulf. The one in Tuscaloosa has a great sushi bar as well. Stuffed shrimp are classic.
Love chucks, and not just because I’m friends with the family that owns it

Yes, the article I read mentioned Five.
Five is ok, I've been there a couple times. It's ok. It's not bad.
Edit... you said HD, not AJ. Disregard this sentence.
And yes, the article said the Chuck's will ahve a sushi bar opening at 4pm daily.
But the thing is, Athens, downtown, already has some really good sushi.
They are moving into a really crowded area, they will have to do something to really stand out.

Yea I’m not too up on the Athens restaurant scene but chucks has always been extremely solid. Nothing super special but just really fresh seafood done right with very good service.

The one in Birmingham is right down the road from me. Great place, the sushi is amazing.
