Can anyone suggest a good working/reliable Wireless Thermometer?

I have a Maverick and I have always had trouble linking the devices. I have done the same procedures over and over and sometimes it connects. I use fresh batteries and even purchased a new probe.
It is a great idea and very helpful but it is not reliable.
