Does anyone have one of these? If so what are your thoughts? I am about to pull the trigger and get this thing. I am limited to purchasing one from Home Depot because my team won a sales contest at work and they gave us $1,000 gift cards

Awesome, thanks for the info. Have you heard of Grill Grates? I saw a video that says if you use them you get more of the sear marks and color, but I wonder if they really work.

I've had this exact model for awhile now with 20+ cooks on it. However, one change I did was get the Sidekick that comes standard with the griddle and I added the pizza oven.
Happy with everything, but as said above, you need to "learn" your way through some things. But each time I cook I get better with it.
Unit itself is built very well and the wifi is fantastic. Was a little bit of a hassle to put together, but very doable. I recommend 2 people to cut the time drastically.
Other thoughts:
- You do not get crazy heavy smoke you would expect from a barrel style, wood chucks smoke. It's a lighter burning, clearer smoke that puts out plenty of smoke aroma, but you will not get very dramatic barks on your meat (so yes, searing them on a screaming hot griddle or sear grates is a perfect finish).
- You don't need to use Camp Chef pellets. Other brands work fine. I find that Apple pellets produce the highest smoke output and best flavor combo.
- Highly recommend splurging and getting the Sidekick. Gamechanger.
- Make sure you clean out the pellet ash at least every 2-3 cooks. I have a simple cheap wetvac for this that does the job perfectly and quickly. If you leave uncleaned it too long you're at risk of all sorts of issues.
In short, I can't recommend it enough. Best value that allows for several upgrade additions that simply aren't offered with other brands.
Pizza oven attachment isn't as quality as like an Ooni or RoccBox but definitely does the trick and makes for a pretty cool set up for a pizza making party with kids, etc...

Awesome, I appreciate the information. I've been thinking about the side kick and will probably get that too..

I love my grill grates. I use them for steaks and burgers.

What’s the difference between the woodwind and the smoke pro?

How does the direct flame grill work?

There is a sliding mechanism that takes the plate off the pellet burning box and exposes the flame.
