so $3 is rediculously low for millionaire.
What is with this bullshite line of thinking? Just because he has a bunch of money he should give it away?

People forget that rich people are rich because they are not stupid with their money. Tipping more than 3-5 dollars on a to go order is being stupid with your money.

I just don't see why these people bitch about a tip. Anyone holding a gun to their heads to work for tips? Maybe they should make a whiny entitled servers union to get a set wage. Of course then they'd wish they made as much as back when they got tips.

How do you know this Carissa chick isn't some POS? She clearly is since she leaked this to the media.

Amen.
How much someone makes should have no impact on their tipping. The service should have an impact on their tipping.

Easy, you didn't do any more work for him than you would for anyone else.

Nothing I've said is made up. The sense of entitlement is definitely there, here's proof:

I'm in agreement with you on most points, but "stupid" for some is not the same as for others, so to say it is stupid is just an opinion.
If we talk long enough we will learn of "stupid" things you (or I) do with our money.

I don't care if your freaking Oprah. Tipping a lot on any order, especially take out, purely because you are rich shouldn't be socially required. If they want to then sure but just because someone is well off doesn't mean they should give you any more than you deserve/worked for. You can really tell who the bottom-feeders are in threads like these.

I am a sucker for those folks too.
I read a book and the author buys several $5 McDonalds gift cards to hand out to homeless people.
He acknowledges that it is not the most healthy option, but they are everywhere and the recipient needs to eat. Cool idea.

All I'm saying is that its ok for random acts of kindness when you make $25MM a year. That being said, the chick shouldnt have ratted him.

Yeah, I know it was stupid, but I just felt bad for the guy and the $3.25 was a bunch of quarters I had in the change tray.

Sure it is. Hell I do it from time to time, but that girl and anyone else who thinks it is ridiculous need an attitude readjustment. If Drew sat down to eat and got shitty service I would encourage him to tip 10% just like any other human should.

Doesn't make him a bad tipper. His salary should have nothing to do with the tip he leaves.

I don't think he was aiming that at you.

Well they aren't random when any time he eats out it is "expected."

I'm on your side on the issue, but this is an ridiculous uncalled for response.
And sort of ironic actually.
