Very good advice in this thread. One thing I do is pit it on the warming rack, opposite of the lit burner, set as low as it will go. And as was said, about an hour per pound should do. You should be able to pull the bone out with the tongs easily when its ready.

Good eating and easy as hell. Make sure you have enough gas though for 10+ hours of cooking.

From what I heard, all your smoke flavor get's added in the first couple of hours or something like that. So what I'll usually do is keep it on the smoker for about 4-5 hours (I want some bark), and then wrap it in tinfoil, put it on a cooking tray, and finish cooking it in the oven.
