How on earth are y'all cooking potatoes in 10-15min? Granted I've never done a boil under 50lbs but at a roaring boil it takes me atleast 45+min to get potatoes to where they aren't raw in the middle and I'm using professional burners. Corn also takes around 25min.

i was wondering the same thing. on my jet burner, rolling boil, potatoes 20min for fork tender,
frozen corn takes 12min. this is with the lid on.

Same reason some put a stick of butter - the myth that the shell will be easier to peel.

hell there is plenty of fat in the crawfish already. do they not know that "sludge" floating on the water when it is cooling down is residual fat from the crawfish themselves? And that tasty golden shite like stuff in the body is also fat. It is very yummy.

And another battle: what is y'alls favorite powder seasoning . I like Cajun land, or swampfire magic. I want to try chackbay. Zattarans just seems too salty to me.

I boiled today with 3 BOXES of salt and they were delicious. Take that Catman.

For realz though, I hosed down the pot today which is something I don't usually do and they were extra juicy. Preciate that tip Catdogg.

I put that in my water before the first batch.
