Parrain’s.
Set at the bar so he can enjoy the full experience of charbroiled oysters and also seeing those hoochie mama waitresses while enjoying some delicious turtle soup

I love the chargrilled
I’m starting the day with a double negative but I’ve never not loved them wherever I’ve had them. And that’s a problem, I really don’t understand it- but iirc they are basically butter, garlic and parm yet every place that I’ve been to outside of LA does some version of Rockefeller or Bienville. I’m not saying those two (done well) aren’t awesome but I’m always amazed that Cajun restaurants that spring up in these parts don’t do a simple perfect dish of chargrilled oysters.

There's something a little different about Mansur's version. There's a certain spice they use that I haven't identified. It may be Asian in nature. I'm just not sure. I've even purchased a pint of the butter mixture. Whatever it is, I love it and those oysters.
