Tony's is consistent, but I've had better from L.A. Boilers.. which is the only other place in BR that I've bought boiled crawfish from.

went to Sammy's last night and they were really good...lobsters and not hard to peel. Ask for the crawfish sauce.

Picked up 15# from Sammys and 10# from LA Boilers last night and chowed down on the patio. Love Sammys and they were as huge as any I have ever had and they are always so clean. That said, LA Boilers were only slightly smaller and they were pretty damn good. Will just say 4 of us plowed through that 25# pounds like we hadn't eaten for weeks.

Very true, for the places I've had this year:

1. Tony's
1a. LA Boilers on Perkins

10. Off the Hook - Had some this weekend, small, not nearly as well seasoned as LA Boilers or Tony's.

You've got to be kidding me. Based on your pick you must either be from:

1. The North
2. Baton Rouge.

Sammy's is ok, but FAR from the BEST.

My vote is for Tony's

Ok i'm not from BR or the north, but say Sammy's is pretty damn good. Not sure if I've had Tony's lately.

If the OP wanted to pick up crawfish, I agree tony's/LA Boilers etc. I was under the impression that they wanted to take their mom to a restaraunt to eat some crawfish, and the best place to do that is sammys hands down. $5 pitchers and consistently good crawfish.

And no I am not from BR/The North.
