looking for a lunch or brunch place sunday...thanks

The Sycamore House.
Hope you enjoy our little slice of heaven.
ETA: The sunchoke soup cold is great, you can top it with crab meat for a meal too. They also have knockout pizza.
ETA II:
Lower key is The Buttercup, they serve paninis and burgers, chicken salad croissants...On 2nd street.
There is a cafe that serves food called the Mockingbird - open until 2 pm.
For seafood there is Trapani's, just off 90, they are famous for topped trout and tuna.
For boiled or fried seafood there is Cuz's on hwy 603.

Thanks I was just about to go to their website when you posted. What's appropriate for men to wear there? Also we made reservations @ BR Prime...how do you like it? thanks

Wear whatever, but I would make reservations. Most people around BSL wear shorts to everything, with a short sleeved button down.
BR Prime - I've never been. Their menu looks outrageous, no idea how they pull it off though.

Not open. I would have recommended that place too.
I think Cuz's may not be open on Sunday either, my bad. I know the others are.

Yep called Cuz's..just crawfish on Sundays. wich one would you pick between Mockingbird and Buttercup? Oh and do either serve booze? Any other fried seafood place open Sunday? I really want to do Sycamore house but might not feel like it Sunday but I'll probably make reservations just in case.

Mockingbird serves the Lazy Magnolia beer line on tap. The Buttercup is really good though, I'd pick this place to eat between the two - though no alcohol.
The Sycamore House has a real nice back patio, but all three have outdoor eating. Sycamore will serve the full bar. After BR Prime though, it may be a little much. You could just pair it down and y'all split a soup, shrimp remoulade, and a salad and eat outside under a beautiful oak tree.
Shaggy's is in Pass Christian and it's a real neat outdoor (upstairs) place in the harbor. Bar and breeze, perfect for a Sunday.

Another neat place, right by Shaggy's and the same owner, is French Charley's. It's neat too. https://www.frenchcharleys.com/BrunchMenu.html
I think you should make your way over to BSL though, and stroll around what's left of our little town. The Sycamore House is tough to beat as far as chill, quality, bar, and patio goes.
Trapani's has fried seafood, it's damn good. Tough to beat their fried trout. I get the almondine, yum.

BSL is a must, my husband went to St. Stanislaus. What do you like to get @ Buttercup? They serve breakfast and lunch? It'll be between Sycamore and Buttercup...depends on the mood. thanks

That was in BSL, and it got way destroyed. Since the road in front of it is only a month old now, nothing has built back. They do however have some dirt spread where the old place stood, so they will return.
It's just off 90 in BSL, where it relocated while Beach Blvd rebuilt. It doesn't have the charm of the old place, but the food it still great, IMO.
It's open on Sundays.
The Buttercup is either sandwiches or breakfast. Dining out on 2nd street is great, no alcohol though.

It gets good reviews by most. Look, we're talking BSL. I got a water and a chocolate muffin from there Sunday and both were good.

We had a real goofy arse waitress there as well. Odd vibe to that place.
The storm was 4 years ago. It Isn't like they can't get food deliveries and shite like that.

I parked my bike next to a Flame Grilled Burger sign Sunday, so yea. No idea though since I've never had one.
Seriously though, the Sycamore House is hands down the place to go.
