I've been to one Applebee's when there was one located on College near I-10, where the IHOP is now. That place was so bad, I can't even watch the commercials without thinkin about that nasty grease pit.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Ruby Tuesdays on College in this thread. How that place has stayed open all these years is a bigger mystery than The Da Vinci Code wrapped in the JFK assassination.

I stopped in the one by my work a few months ago to get out of traffic and it was probably the worst restaurant experience I have had in years.
All I wanted to do was sit at the bar and have a few beers and a appetizer.
-Flat beer out of mug that was dirty
-nachos that had what seemed like the cheese out of a can squirted on top and it was not warm
-The place was just dirty. My hand stuck to the bar in a few spots and there was trash on the floor all over the restaurant.
-The bartender spent more time goofing off with the pathetic looking waitstaff and talking on her cell phone than she did taking care of the bar patrons.
I hate places like this. Applebees and Bennigans can suck it.
And don't even mention them in the same sentence as Chilis.
