SIAP Corp of Engineers' Flooding Scenarios

The second scenario is if a levee breaks. Not sure which one. A friend of mine is a company commnder in the guard and he's been all over south LA the past couple of days going to briefings. Someone made the comment that if #2 happens, it would make the Katrina and Rita flooding like an afternoon shower.

2 & 3 won't happen because the Morganza will be opened. I'm curious to see the map with the Morganza opened 100%. 1 only predicts 50%.

Wonder why they would make those predictions if they're going to open the spillway? Hopefully it still works. Hasn't been opened since 73?

To justify flooding the Basin, and the people who live there. Not that they already know that living there this a possibility.
