mine shows just over 17 ft...so does this mean that unless 18 feet hits my area I'm safe? I know, probably a stupid question...just want to make sure I'm intereprting it right!

Thanks for providing some comic relief, but my moms is actually in Houston visiting doctors at MD Anderson. This just adds another level of complexity to the whole thing. BUT, I guess here being in H-Town means she doesn't have to evacuate.

FYI Those elevation measurements are from the crown of the street and not the actual house. JMO

Don't know if that's right. I have an elevation certificate of my slab at 5.5', which is 20" higher than the road. Yet it says I'm at 1.2'. Did I sink 4+ feet in the last 10 years?
