Would someone help with a possible vector..if that's what's needed

If you are wanting to do a vinyl sticker this ones gonna be tough. The wispy smoke effects will not translate to a vinyl sticker very well. First, it probably won't cut well and if you do get a good cut, prolly won't stay one very well. You could go with a transparent sticker with a printed background, but you may not be a big fan of those types of stickers. In order to do a good looking vinyl sticker, the image will need to look good in "black and white." At lot detail will be lost in your posted pic b/c loss of greyscale.

what color mugs are you doing?

Matte black. Those mock-ups look great. Was actually going to post an update in a day or so. I found a website that had this destiny emblem broken into layers and was able to just get the skull. Uploaded it to the makestickers.com website and it turned out good. I have a sticker coming in the mail in a day or so and if I like it I'll order more to do the mugs.
