Adding text to an image is very, very easy. You can do it in Microsoft Paint which all computers with Windows have installed.

Open the photo with Paint. Use the text tool and write whatever you want. You can play with the size and placement but as soon as you enter, you cannot edit it further.

Save it as a different filename so you don't lose the original.
