I just installed CS5. Here is my problem. It's aggravating me every time I alter the frame of a graphic it shows a ghost/preview of the entire image. I need to know if there is a way to turn this off.

For instance. I have a document at 4"x6". So I place a background image to match those dimensions even though the image I am placing is actually 8.5"x11". So if I were to grab the corner of this 4x6 box and move it around its going to show me (faded back) the entire image.

It sucks and I hate it. If anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

in cs4, it only does it when you click down and hold it for a second before you resize. If you just click and resize quickly it won't do it.

It's never really a problem unless you're placing a very large link and 90% of it is hidden..and even then on slower machines usually. I didn't see anything in the preferences though. Try google maybe?

Thanks. Now on CS5 you can choose to have it never come up, delayed (like its been up to CS4) or instant. The default is instant. I posted a question on another forum and some guy nailed it within 10 minutes.
